At times, Rancho Corazon will place top prospects with other trainers in order to accelerate their training and broaden their experiences. One such horse is Bathsheba, a half sister to Rancho Corazon’s stallion Cariño G, who competed successfully at the 1.40mm level and is AHHA approved. Bathsheba had the highest premium foal scores in 2009 and has continued to impress, as she received site champion and entry into the exclusive Premium Select Mare Book at her AHHA Approvals. Bathsheba shows remarkable scope and technique; she is surely one of our best young horses and is destined to do exceptional things in the show arena. This flashy mare is currently showing with John Pearce in the young horse divisions.

Bathsheba is a daughter of Quinar, who has sired 5 world champion jumping horses. Quinar himself was successful at the advanced S level with Jos Lansink before standing at stud for both the Holsteiners and Zangersheides. Bathsheba’s grand sire, Quidam de Revel, took a team bronze and placed 4th individually in the 1992 Olympics.

Bathsheba’s dam, Ogolli, is one of the best producing Holsteiner mares in the country. By the renowned Riverman, Ogolli passes on her sire’s talent for jumping, supple movement and fantastic mind. Without a doubt, Bathsheba’s bloodlines and demonstrated potential make her one to watch for the future.
